A need to express emotions is very important for a human being as suppressing them is quite dangerous for a person and that is what music does for us. Helps us in expression.
Music also holds the power to bring people together and unite them through thick and thin no matter what culture do they belong to or what’s their language, as music is the universal language and it is felt. A person connects with other person simply by sharing their playlist, or talking about their favorite song, or attending concerts and having fun with friends. All these examples help a person connect with other and create a bond promoting compassion and understanding.
Music plays important role in education as it has positive impact on brain function and specially on the largest part of the brain which is known as cerebrum which empower memory functions and language skill. Children who are introduced to music at an early age has better problem-solving abilities. Music allows children to think and express themselves creatively. So, music notes are a fun way to instill development and discipline in Children.
Music is also used as a therapeutic tool. Music therapy is introduced in medical clinics which is helping people in reducing anxiety, improve social connections, self-expression, and managing stress. This therapy is provided in medical clinics to help people with pain management, it helps people in expressing their thoughts creatively which they were struggling to share, and making their communication skill better.

It’s a fact that different kind of music affects the mind differently, it carries the ability to trigger many emotions through different effects of sounds. It affects the part of the brain known as cerebrum which is connected with emotions and movements, that explains exactly why music makes us move and make us feel different emotions. It directly impacts on our physical, mental, and emotional conditions.
- Emotional affect: Music leaves huge emotional impact on us, we often find ourselves crying over a sad scene of a movie but not when we’re watching a stranger passing by in an ambulance, that’s because it’s the sound effects included in the scenes of the movies which usually triggers an emotional reaction from human. It’s not the scene that make us move but the way music helps us resonate.

Music doesn’t need a person to understand the words in order for a person to enjoy a song.
